Economy Guided Rifle & Bow Hunts

Our economy guided hunt is designed for hunters who have the experience and skills necessary to hunt in a mountainous setting without the full time accompaniment of a guide. The hunter to guide ratio on the economy hunt is four on one. The outfitter sponsored license can be used on this hunt.
We use the same pre-set base camps with the same amenities as we do on all of our guided hunts. We accommodate two hunters per tent and up to eight guests per hunt. If you have a full party of four we can offer you a camp exclusively for your group.
We staff the trip with a cook and a packer/guide. The cook takes care of all kitchen and camp tending duties. All food is provided. The guide takes care of stock; advises hunters on the lay of the land and how the elk and deer use it; accompanies guests and directs the hunt; and quarters, capes and packs game.
The pack trip into camp is done with horse and mule but all hunting is done on foot.
Hunters who are in good physical shape, are proficient with GPS and topo maps, and can dress their own game, have the potential to do very well on this hunt.

Most of our guests place their trip emphasis on elk. You can hunt both elk and deer. If you are successful in taking both animals then we will charge a $500. trophy fee on the deer. If you only take one species, whether it be elk or deer, there is no trophy fee. We do ask our guests not to kill a mule deer or whitetail buck that is less than a mature 4x4.
Our eight day guided economy hunts are available through out all rifle and bow seasons from September through November.
